Detailed Itinerary – 6 Days

Remote valleys, mountain passes & Mount Toubkal summit
Day 1

Marrakech → High Atlas Mountains → Tachdirt Village

Early morning departure from Marrakech toward the High Atlas Mountains. Meet the mule team and local staff before beginning the first hike toward Tachdirt Village, one of the highest inhabited villages in the region. Discover authentic Amazigh mountain life, terraced agriculture, and peaceful valleys.

Day 2

Tachdirt (2,500 m) → Tizi Likemt Pass (3,600 m) → Azib Likemt

Trek through spectacular mountain scenery toward Tizi Likemt Pass (3,600 m), one of the most panoramic viewpoints in the High Atlas Mountains. Descend toward Azib Likemt, a traditional Amazigh summer village used by nomadic shepherds.

Day 3

Azib Likemt → Aourai → Amssouzart / Ait Igrane

Cross remote mountain terrain and hidden valleys of the western High Atlas. Pass through fertile valleys, walnut trees, terraced fields, and traditional villages while experiencing authentic Amazigh mountain life far from tourist routes.

Day 4

Amssouzart (1,800 m) → Lake Ifni (2,300 m)

Day 5

Lake Ifni → Tizi Ouanoumss Pass → Toubkal Refuge

Climb steadily through dramatic mountain landscapes toward Tizi Ouanoumss Pass (3,650 m), one of the highest and most impressive passes in the High Atlas Mountains. Descend toward the Toubkal Refuge for rest before summit day.

Day 6

Mount Toubkal Summit (4,167 m) → Imlil
