Detailed Itinerary – 5 Days
Explore the High Atlas Valleys and conquer Mount ToubkalMarrakech (450 m) → Imi Oughlad (1,400 m) → Tizi n’Tacht (2,020 m) → Tizi Oussem (1,800 m)
After breakfast, departure from Marrakech toward the High Atlas Mountains.
Following a scenic drive, arrival in the village of Imi Oughlad where you meet the muleteers and local trekking team.
The trek begins with a gradual ascent through traditional Amazigh villages,
juniper forests, and mountain trails toward Tizi n’Tacht Pass (2,020 m),
the highest point of the day.
From the pass, enjoy panoramic views over the surrounding valleys before descending
toward the beautiful village of Tizi Oussem, known for its peaceful atmosphere
and dramatic mountain scenery.
After arriving at the guesthouse, relax with Moroccan mint tea and enjoy a traditional mountain dinner.

Tizi Oussem (1,800 m) → Tizi n’Mzik (2,400 m) → Aremd Village (1,900 m)
After breakfast, continue trekking through spectacular mountain landscapes toward
Tizi n’Mzik Pass, one of the most scenic panoramic viewpoints in the High Atlas Mountains.
The trail climbs steadily through juniper-covered hills and rocky mountain terrain
before reaching the pass, offering breathtaking views across valleys and surrounding peaks.
After lunch along the trail, descend toward the picturesque village of Aremd,
one of the most beautiful villages in the Toubkal region.
The evening is dedicated to relaxation and preparation for the following trekking stages.
Overnight: Traditional guesthouse in Aremd Village
Walking Time: Approximately 5–6 hours

Aremd (1,900 m) → Chamharouch → Toubkal Refuge (3,207 m)
Today the trek follows the famous trail toward Mount Toubkal Base Camp.
After breakfast, continue ascending through the Mizane Valley, passing waterfalls,
rocky landscapes, and traditional mule trails before reaching the spiritual village
of Chamharouch, an important pilgrimage site known for its white-painted shrine
and peaceful mountain setting.
After a lunch break, continue the gradual ascent toward the Toubkal Refuge,
surrounded by spectacular high mountain scenery.
Depending on availability and season, accommodation may be inside the refuge
or in comfortable mountain tents nearby during the summer season.
The evening includes dinner and a summit briefing with the guide in preparation for summit day.

Walking Time: Approximately 5–6 hours

Mount Toubkal Summit (4,167 m) → Refuge → Aremd Village
Early morning departure for the ascent to the summit of Mount Toubkal,
the highest peak in North Africa.
The climb is gradual but physically rewarding, leading to breathtaking panoramic views
over the Atlas Mountains and toward the Sahara Desert on clear days.
After spending time at the summit for photos and rest, descend back to the refuge
for lunch before continuing down toward Aremd Village.
This is the most challenging and rewarding day of the trek, combining achievement,
adventure, and unforgettable scenery.

Walking Time: Approximately 8–10 hours
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Aremd → Imlil → Marrakech
After breakfast, enjoy a gentle descent through traditional mountain trails toward Imlil Village.
Transfer back to Marrakech with drop-off at your accommodation or at Marrakesh Menara Airport depending on your travel arrangements.
